Over the past year, Stuffed has grown from a simple idea into an active, community supported initiative focused on comfort, dignity, and care for children in vulnerable situations.

To date, Stuffed has worked with immigrant rights centers and housing organizations to deliver stuffed animals directly to children and families navigating instability, displacement, and uncertainty. These partnerships have allowed us to place comfort items where they are most immediately needed and most thoughtfully distributed.

Through donation drives, community support, and partnerships, we have raised and donated over $3,600 worth of stuffed animals. We currently maintain an active inventory of approximately 500 stuffed animals, with numbers continuing to grow as new drives and collection efforts are launched.

Beyond numbers, our impact is reflected in consistency. Stuffed has operated continuously for over a year, building reliable processes for collection, sorting, storage, and distribution. Each stuffed animal is treated as a meaningful gift, not a leftover item, because for the child receiving it, that moment matters.

Looking ahead, Stuffed is focused on expanding both reach and reliability.

We plan to build partnerships with hospitals, where stuffed animals can provide comfort to children during medical treatment, emergency care, or long hospital stays. We are also exploring partnerships with homeless shelters and transitional housing organizations to support children experiencing housing insecurity.

Our near term priorities include expanding donation sites, organizing larger community drives, and identifying long term partner organizations that can receive and distribute stuffed animals at scale. As we grow, we remain committed to maintaining thoughtful distribution and ensuring that every donation reaches a child who truly needs it.

Stuffed will continue to grow carefully, guided by real needs, trusted partnerships, and the belief that small acts of comfort can make a lasting difference.
